Bajaj Pulsar NS160 To Get New Instrument Cluster And Switchgear

Bajaj is updating the Pulsar range as the company has already released a teaser of the N150 and the launch is expected to take place soon. Now the latest spy shots of the NS160 have also hit the internet. One of the major changes that is going to happen with the new Pulsar NS160 is the updated switchgear as the Pulsar NS160 is going to be the first motorcycle from Bajaj to come with hazard lights as it has been one of the missing features as adventure motorcycle made this feature popular among customers.

The test mule also revealed that the Pulsar NS160 gets upside-down forks as the current model comes with conventional telescopic forks. The introduction of upside-down forks will certainly improve the front-end feel of the motorcycle. The company has also updated the design theme of the Pulsar NS160 as the headlamp cowl appears to be different and it appears to be slightly bigger than the model that is currently on sale. The company has also added LED indicators on the new model as the earlier one had bulbs.

The updated Pulsar NS160 also gets a redesigned instrument cluster and it is expected to be a fully digital unit with lots more information than the analogue setup. Bajaj is expected to introduce smartphone connectivity on the new N150 and the same is likely to make its debut on the new NS160 also. Some of the features on the connected tech include call details, music control and turn-by-turn navigation. The Pulsar NS160 is powered by the same 160.3 cc engine with 17.2 PS of power and 14.6 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
