By Audi officially revealed the much-awaited Q7 facelift globally. This is the second facelift for the current-generation Q7 which was introduced back in 2015. One of the most striking changes is the new front fascia, featuring a redesigned Singleframe grille with an octagon-themed pattern. The lower fascia showcases redesigned corner vents with a vertical orientation. Optional HD Matrix lights with laser light technology enhance visibility, offering expanded vision with laser diodes activating high beams at speeds above 70 kph.
Audi introduces optional customization features for the daytime running lights, allowing drivers to select from four distinct lighting signatures, a feature that extends to the updated LED taillights as well. The base model now comes standard with contrast stitching, 19-inch wheels, and a rearview camera with parking assist Plus, while nine decorative inlays and three new exterior colours offer enhanced personalization options. In terms of technology, the 2024 Q7 welcomes third-party apps for the first time, enabling seamless integration of popular services like Spotify into the infotainment system. New driver-assist features, including warning displays for lane changes and distance alerts, enhance safety and convenience on the road.
Mechanically, the Q7 retains its formidable performance with minor tweaks to its four-wheel steering system aimed at improving manoeuvrability. The engine lineup remains unchanged, offering a choice between a 3.0-litre turbo diesel V6 and a 3.0-litre turbo petrol V6, with the range-topping SQ7 boasting a potent 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged petrol V8. For enthusiasts seeking unparalleled performance, the SQ7 now offers an optional torque-vectoring differential as part of the Advanced Suspension Package, promising enhanced handling and agility on diverse road surfaces. Available in three trim levels – S Line, Black Edition, and Vorsprung.
