Audi officially launched the new Q3 Sportback Coupe SUV in the Indian market at Rs. 51.43 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Q3 Sportback is the first model from the German manufacturer to be introduced in India this year. The Sportback Coupe version is based on the second-generation Q3, which was introduced last year in the country. The coupe follows the same design theme but it will be available only in the top-spec Technology with all the bells and whistles.
When compared to the regular Q3, the Sportback Coupe version is priced at a premium of Rs. 1 lakh. On the exterior, there are some changes and the main thing is coupe-like styling for the roof while the front gets a new grille along with an updated bumper. The Q3 Sportback Coupe comes with 10-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels and the rear gets slightly updated tail lamps. In terms of dimensions, the height has gone down by 49 mm and narrower by 6 mm but the length increased by 36 mm.
The interior is virtually carried over from the regular Q3 as the infotainment system is a 10.1-inch unit along with a fully digital cluster. The Q3 Sportback is packed with features like 30-ambient colours, a 10-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, TPMS, and six airbags to name a few. Audi is using the same engine from Q3, which is the 2.0 L turbo petrol engine with 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
