Setting itself apart with a distinctive design reminiscent of Dakar rally bikes, the Tuareg 660 boasts a purposeful aesthetic. The LED headlight, positioned prominently above a tall windscreen, emphasizes its rugged appeal.

Aprilia’s emphasis on functionality is evident in the minimalistic bodywork, with features like the exposed sub-frame and streamlined tail section, housing only essential components like the taillight and indicators. Beneath its robust exterior lies a sturdy tubular frame, complemented by a 43mm USD front fork and a progressive linkage rear monoshock, ensuring superior handling both on and off-road. The braking system, comprising twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, provides reliable stopping power.

The Tuareg 660 rides on a combination of 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels fitted with tubeless tyres, enhancing its off-road capabilities. Powering the Tuareg 660 is a potent 659cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering 80bhp and 79Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox for seamless power delivery across various terrains. In terms of electronics, the Tuareg 660 offers a comprehensive suite of rider aids, including four ride modes with two customizable options, multi-level traction control, switchable ABS, cruise control, and engine brake control. These features are conveniently accessible via the five-inch TFT display, providing riders with intuitive control over their riding experience.
