By Hyundai is gearing up to launch the next-generation Verna on March 21. Now the company has released details of the segment’s first features on the new Verna, which puts the sedan above its segment shame. Some of the stand-out features are heated and ventilated front seats, a switchable climate control interface and a Boss-premium 8-speaker audio system. The Verna also comes with dual 10.25-inch screens one for the infotainment and the other for the instrument cluster.
The design theme took inspiration from the Elantra as the front and rear get full-length light bars, which elevates the experience. The headlamps are split-set up in which the headlamps are positioned below with a separate part for the indicators. The Verna comes with a 1.5 L GDI petrol engine with 158 hp and 253 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT. Hyundai will also offer a 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol engine also while diesel is likely to be not on the cards.
