By 2023 Acer FASTER Awards winners were officially announced on May 3rd at the Orana Convention Centre in Gurugram. The ceremony was hosted by Ravin Kundu, and the event served as a platform to felicitate professionals and organisations that have played a vital role in the growth of the auto industry. Hyundai Tucson won the prestigious FASTER Car Of the Year while the Bike of The Year honour was taken by the TVS Ronin.
Some of the other winners on the big night included Mercedes Benz which won the Premium Car of the Year with its EQS 580 and the Electric Car of the Year is Kia EV6. Honda City e:HEV won the Auto Tech of the Year award and Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director & CEO (Auto & Farm Sector), Mahindra Group is the Industry Personality of The Year as his contributions to the Indian automotive industry over the last one year is more than impeccable.
Jehan Daruvala is the Motorsport Personality of the Year as he is making headlines in Motorsports with his superb racing performance in the ongoing Formula F2 championship. Hyundai Motor India Limited won the CSR Initiatives of the Year award as the Korean manufacturer is taking lots of efforts to help children get basic education and give basic needs to people who need the most. We can see these initiatives, especially in the rural parts of Tamil Nadu.
The Communication Team of the Year is Maruti Suzuki India LTD as the company know how to effectively communicate with its large base of customers and other partners across India which make it stand out from the competition. First Partners is the PR Team of the Year and Auto Ad Campaign of the Year is Tata Kaziranga Edition.
