By Honda officially announced the name of its Creta rival SUV as Elevate. The new SUV will make its global debut on June 6th and the India launch is expected to take place sometime towards the festival season. The Elevate is a completely new SUV developed for emerging markets especially and India will be the first market to get this model while other countries will get the model in the coming months. Elevate is a crucial model for Honda as the future depends on it.
Honda Elevate is based on the fifth-generation City platform and it will help the Japanese manufacturer to keep the development cost down but the body parts are completely different. The design theme is expected to take inspiration from Honda’s global SUV models and the Interior will be packed with lots of features. The engine will be the same 1.5 L unit from City but the tuning will be different and the Hybrid model will make its debut at a later stage.
