By Volkswagen Annual Media Conference is going to take place tomorrow and we are expecting the company to reveal details of the future lineup along with some new limited edition models too. One of the new models coming is the Taigun GT Plus Sport and it has been leaked of the debut. Last year also the company showcased similar limited-edition models and the Taigun GT Plus Sport is likely to be the new flagship variant of the SUV.
The GT Plus Sport gets minor exterior tweaks which include new darkened headlamps along with a black finish on the grille, fender and rear. The company has also added black 17-inch alloy wheels and GT badges on the fender. The Volkswagen Taigun GT branded model comes in a Carbon Steel Grey roof and GT branding on the grille, fender, and rear profile, dark chrome door handles along with red brake callipers.
The interior is finished in black with leatherette upholstery and red stitching. The GT Plus Sport model comes with aluminium pedals, sports steering with red stitching, and GT badges on the seats and front headrests. The special edition model gets blacked-out roof lamp housing, sun visors, and grab handles. The Taigun GT Plus Sport is available in both 1.0 L TSI with 114 hp and 1.5 L TSI with 148 hp, mated to 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque convertor and 7-speed DCT.
