By Volkswagen silently updated the top variant of the Taigun, which is the GT Plus model with ventilated seats as part of the standard package. Earlier the company offered this feature as an option on the top-end variant. The Taigun is one of the best-selling models VW in the Indian market. The SUV has already completed one year in the market and as part of the celebration, the SUV was offered new Blue colour options.
Some of the other features on the Taigun include touch-screen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, electric sunroof, wireless charger to name a few. Volkswagen Taigun comes with two engine options – 1.0 L and 1.5 L. The 1.0 L engine makes 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque, this engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter while the 1.5 L produces 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, this engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG gearbox. VW Taigun price starts at Rs. 11.55 lakh.
