Volkswagen Polo GTI Edition 25 Revealed, Could Be The Last Update

Volkswagen GTI badge is always associated with the Golf but sometimes the company add this name badge to models which have been tuned for additional performance and Polo GTI is one of them. The first Polo GTI was introduced in 1998 and to celebrate the 25th anniversary, the German manufacturer introduced Polo GT Edition 25, which is limited to just 2500 units and the price starting around Rs. 31.44 lakh in Germany.

The Polo GTI Edition 25 comes with subtle changes but the major one is that it is fitted with sports suspension as it lowers to the ground by 15 mm and the hot hatchback also comes with an electronic differential lock for further improving the driving feel. Volkswagen has given adaptive LED lights as standard on this special edition model. The special edition is available in Smoke Grey Metallic, Pure White, Ascot Grey, Reef Blue Metallic, Deep Black Pearl Effect, and Kings Red Metallic.

On the exterior, the subtle tweaks include a One of 2500 badge on the sills, 18-inch Adelaide wheels finished in glossy black and this same finish for the mirrors and roof. Customers can also choose radar-based driving assistance systems and a couple of infotainment options. The Polo GTI Edition 25 is powered by a 2.0 L TSI engine with 204 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DSG. 0-100 kph in 6.5 sec.
