By Tata Motors are one of the Indian brands that have been setting the benchmark for vehicle safety in the country and now, the carmaker is planning to introduce ADAS tech in their vehicles which will be showcased at the 2023 auto expo. This is a huge step up for the Indian brand to feature an advanced driver assist system after Mahindra. Mahindra offers the ADAS feature in XUV700 and TATA MOTORS is expected to feature the ADAS tech in their SUVs Harrier and Safari.
Tata vehicles are known for their rigid and strong body that gives maximum safety to their passengers, many accidents have been recorded in the country where Tata vehicles escaped with minor scratches whereas other vehicles were seriously damaged. This scenario gave the trust of safety to the customers by the company and that made the carmaker make its entire lineup’s safety assured. The flagship SUVs of the brand Harrier and Safari are expected to get a midlife refresh in early 2023 and a test mule of the Harrier facelift was spotted in the country with a radar placement at the front. This conveys that the ADAS tech will be featured on the facelift Harrier and Safari.
Tata motors are also looking forward to hydrogen power train tech and ADAS techs showcasing. Tata being a car manufacturer is aggressive in the market with easy adaptation to newer powertrain technologies. Tata was the first carmaker to manufacture electric cars and successfully build up a good range of electric vehicles in the country, and now Tata motors are preparing for the adaptation of the hydrogen power train in the country soon.
