By Tata Motors is one of the fastest growing manufacturerss in India and in EV segment, the Nexon EV maker is currently leading the segment as the company was the first manufacturer to introduce mass market electric vehicles. The company is planning to expand the EV portfolio as they have already confirmed that the first-generation electric vehicles have been already introduced and now they are working on next-generation electric vehicles as the first model will be the new Nexon EV.
The updated Nexon EV is expected to be introduced during festival season as the ICE version of the Nexon is also due for facelift. The upcoming Nexon EV is expected to come with number of new changes especially the design which is going to take inspirations from the Curvv concept while the interior is going to be upmarket with new design theme and premium features to lure customers from competitors. The battery pack is likely to get an update with better performance and range.
The next product in line is going to be Harrier EV as the company had already showcased the concept version at the 2023 Auto Expo. The battery details hasn’t been revealed yet but we can expect good range. The third product under development is the Punch EV and it is expected to get same powertrain from the Tiago EV which will keep costs down. The final product in the pipeline will be the production version of the Curvv concept and it is likely to be introduced by the end of next year.
