Skoda Enyaq iV Official Unveiled At Bharat Mobility Expo

Skoda India officially unveiled the Enyaq iV electric crossover at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The Enyaq iV has been spotted in India many times and reports suggested that the company plans to introduce the model soon in India. Skoda is expected to launch the Enyaq iV in the Indian market next month as the official bookings are expected to begin early next month followed by the price announcement towards the end of March. The company will import the Enyaq iV and the pricing will likely be on the premium end.

The Enyaq iV is built on the MEB platform, the same platform used in the Volkswagen ID 4 and Audi Q4 e-tron crossover as VW might also showcase the ID 4. Measuring 4,648mm in length and 1,877mm in width, the Enyaq iV is only slightly smaller than Skoda’s Kodiaq. Its generous proportions result in a roomy interior, enhancing its practicality. In India, Skoda intends to introduce the Enyaq iV in the lounge trim. Inside, it features a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather and microfibre fabric upholstery with contrast stitching.

Under the hood, the Enyaq iV 80x houses a 77kWh battery, capable of supporting up to 125kW DC fast charging. Equipped with dual motors, one on each axle, this SUV delivers all-wheel drive (AWD) capability and a combined power output of 265hp. Skoda claims the Enyaq iV 80x can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 6.9 seconds and offers a WLTP-rated range of up to 513km. Skoda is also developing a brand new electric car for the Indian market and it is going to be mass market product but the launch might take place only in 2026 or even later.
