Jeep Wagoneer S Electric SUV With 600 HP First Look

Jeep officially released new images of the Wagoneer S Electric SUV and it is expected to make its global debut later this year. The Wagoneer S is built on Jeep’s newly developed STLA Large platform, which is made exclusively for electric vehicles measuring 4.7 to 4.9 meters in length. The interior of the Wagoneer S is nothing short of futuristic, featuring a comprehensive digital cockpit with four screens strategically placed across the dashboard. A digital instruments screen, central infotainment display, climate control screen, and passenger entertainment screen offer a glimpse into the tech-forward cabin.

Additional functionality includes massaging seat controls and defrost settings, and an intriguing option to turn off the screen suggests the presence of supplemental tactile controls for convenience. While specific details on the powertrain remain undisclosed, Jeep promises a robust driving experience with 600 horsepower under the hood, propelling the Wagoneer S from 0 to 100 kph in 3.5 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a Selec-Terrain system, offering various drive modes to adapt to different terrains and driving conditions.

The Wagoneer S is built on the STLA Large platform, a versatile base designed to accommodate battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) with either 400-volt or 800-volt electric architectures. This platform can also be configured for hybrid powertrains, showcasing Jeep’s commitment to flexibility in its electric vehicle lineup. Inside, the tech-focused interior includes a premium 19-speaker McIntosh sound system and a standard dual-pane panoramic moonroof. The passenger entertainment screen allows occupants to enjoy movies and other entertainment options not available to the driver, adding a touch of luxury to the overall driving experience.
