Simple Energy Dot One Officially Launched In India At Rs. 1 Lakh

Simple Energy officially launched the Dot One in India at Rs. 1 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). This follows the success of their first model, the Simple One. The Dot One is positioned as a sub-variant built on the Simple One platform. One standout feature of the Dot One is its certified range of 151 km, making it the longest-range electric two-wheeler in its category, according to the EV manufacturer. The scooter also boasts a claimed 160 km in IDC. Simple Energy has opened online bookings for the Dot One, allowing enthusiasts to secure their orders.

The model is available in four appealing colour options – Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure Blue. As part of the introductory offering, the Dot One comes in exclusive LightX and BrazenX colour variants. The delivery of these sleek electric scooters will begin in Bangalore and gradually expand to other cities. Performance is a key focus for the Dot One, evident in its specially designed tires that maximize on-road range. 0 to 40 km in just 2.77 seconds which positions it as the fastest electric two-wheeler in its segment. The 12-inch wheels on both ends are paired with 90/90 tubeless tires.

The Dot One uses a 3.7 kWh battery capacity and an 8.5 kW electric motor, delivering a peak torque output of 72 Nm. Safety features, including CBS and disc brakes, ensure a secure riding experience. Additionally, the scooter offers practicality with a 35-litre under-seat storage compartment and a touchscreen instrument cluster with app connectivity. For early adopters from Bangalore, Simple Energy has introduced exclusive introductory pricing available until the inventory lasts. The official price along with more details will be revealed in January.
