Royal Enfield To Increase Price of Himalayan 450

Royal Enfield officially launched the much-awaited Himalayan 450 at the MotoVerse. The new Himalayan 450 price starts at Rs. 2.69 lakhs which is an introductory price and the response from the fans was overwhelming. Now the company is going to increase the price of Himalayan 450 in India from January 2024 as the customers who book before December 31st, 2023 can get the Himalayan 450 at the introductory price. Prospective customers can book the Himalayan 450 either via the official website or at the dealership.

2024 Himalayan introduces a host of upgrades, marking a significant departure from its predecessor. At the heart of the beast is a brand-new liquid-cooled, 452cc, single-cylinder engine named the Sherpa 450, boasting an impressive 40hp and 40Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch, this powerhouse is about 10 kg lighter than the previous LS 411 motor. The new Himalayan features an all-new steel twin-spar frame, utilizing the engine as a stressed member. Its suspension system comprises a 43mm USD fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock, both with 200mm of travel.

With a commanding ground clearance of 230mm and a customizable seat height ranging from 825mm to 845mm, the Himalayan offers riders versatility for various terrains. The motorcycle maintains its 21/17-inch wheel sizes (front/rear), but the tires are entirely new and specially crafted for the updated Himalayan. Braking duties are handled by a single 320mm disc at the front and a 270mm disc at the back, both supplied by ByBre. The inclusion of dual-channel ABS, with the option to deactivate the rear, ensures enhanced safety.
