Nissan Magnite Sales Crossed 1 Lakh Units In India

Nissan officially launched the Magnite in 2020 and since then the model has been a big success for the Japanese manufacturer as it is the model which helped the Japanese manufacturer to stay afloat in the market. Now the company has achieved a major milestone as the overall sales crossed one lakh units in India. The aggressive pricing strategy of Nissan has helped the Magnite to become more accessible as the entry-level model was priced at Rs. 4.99 lakh when it was initially launched but it has increased to Rs. 6 lakh (Ex-Showroom).

As part of the celebration, Nissan has launched an innovative web-based platform named ‘NISSAN ONE’, offering a comprehensive array of services. Through this platform, both existing and prospective customers can access various facilities including test drive scheduling, vehicle bookings, real-time service requests and appointments, referral programs, and more. Recently the company introduced a new variant called EZ-Shift in the Indian market as it makes the Magnite the most affordable automatic SUV in the Indian market.

The Magnite EZ-Shift features a 5-speed AMT, the same unit found in its mechanically related counterpart, the Renault Kiger. This transmission is coupled with the 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. Impressively, the Magnite AMT achieves a commendable ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figure of 19.70 Kmpl, making it slightly more fuel-efficient than its manual counterpart. Nissan has also incorporated features like a creep function and kick-down function to ensure a smooth and hassle-free driving experience.
