By Nissan commenced testing of the Magnite facelift model last month as it is the most important model of the Japanese manufacturer. According to new reports, the Magnite facelift is expected to be launched in January 2025 which is still some time away as the company is yet to finalise the design changes that are coming to the new model. Earlier reports indicated that Magnite is likely to get a similar exterior design theme as the global SUV models of Nissan. The front gets an updated grille with new LED headlamps and a new bumper while the changes to the side are limited to a new set of alloy wheels.
The changes to the rear include new LED tail lamps along with an updated bumper. Nissan is expected to offer new colour options with Magnite facelift. The interior is expected to get a major redesign as the infotainment system will be a bigger unit compared to the current system and a new software too. The instrument cluster is likely to come with a new design too for UI and it could be loaded with more features. Apart from this, Nissan will offer a sunroof with the Magnite as it is one of the missing on the compact SUV.
Some of the other features include wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, rear AC vents, leatherette seats, keyless entry and more. The Japanese manufacturer is also focusing on safety as the Magnite facelift model will come with six airbags which could be offered on the top-end variant along with ABS and ESP. The Magnite will retain the 1.0 L 3-cylinder petrol engine and 1.0 L turbo petrol with manual, AMT and CVT gearbox options.
