Next-Generation Toyota Land Cruiser Rendered, Launch Soon

Toyota is going to introduce the next-generation Land Cruiser soon as the company has already started production of the new model. The updated Land Cruiser has been already spotted but the spy pictures were not clear. Before, Toyota reveals the Land Cruiser here is a preview of the upcoming model thanks to the rendering from Kolesa.ru. From the spy images, it was clear that the overall shape of the Land Cruiser will be retained.

The major change for the new model will be at the front and rear as the grille will get a completely new design with lots of chrome. The headlamps are expected to get a new design with LED lighting expected along with a new bumper. The fog lamps are likely to be LED units and they will be placed on the lower portion of the bumper. The overall muscular stance will continue and the side design is similar to the current model.

But the alloy wheels get a new design and the wheel arches will be tweaked. The tail lamps are likely to be LEDs with a new design and an updated bumper. The tailgate will also go under the designer’s knife. Toyota is also expected to introduce some new colour options. The interior is yet to be spied but the rumours suggest that the dashboard might get a new design with bigger touchscreen infotainment in the centre console.

The fit and finish will be similar to the current model while the instrument cluster is expected to retain the analogue set up as it is one of the very few models with a conventional meter console. The tech might get a big update as it is one of the areas where the Land Cruiser lack compared to its arch-rival Range Rover. The Land Cruiser will be powered by a 3.5 L twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine with a hybrid version and the launch might take place soon.
