Next-Generation KTM 390 Adventure Spotted Again

KTM is developing next-generation of 390 Adventure as the company has already revealed the naked sibling. The 390 Adventure has been spotted testing in India again and this time, the motorcycle is cruising on the highway. From the video, we can notice that high-speed cruising is very effortless, which is one of the trademarks of the current-generation model too. The design theme of the new-generation model will be slightly different as KTM is giving a proper half-fairing, which looks similar to tall sports tourers in the market.

Another thing, we can notice is that KTM has given under-belly exhaust for the 390 Adventure as some reports indicated that the Austrian manufacturer might offer conventionally mounted exhaust on the new model. One of the biggest problems with the current 390 Adventure is that the motorcycle is not suited for shorter riders but it could be addressed with the new model as the seat height could be slightly lower as KTM has already reduced the ride height on 390 Duke. The foot pegs are positioned slightly on the sporty side.

The rear of the 390 Adventure is slightly narrower than the current model and LED tail lamps have been retained. The instrument cluster is fully digital and it is the same screen from the 390 Duke. We can expect KTM to offer cruise control on the new Adventure model as it could help riders during long-distance rides. The 390 Adventure gets off-set mounted mono-shock like the 390 Duke but the suspension will be tuned for off-roading. The engine will be retained from the 390 Duke but the gearbox and engine will be suited for both on and off-road.
