Mini Cooper SE Charge Edition Launched In India

Mini officially introduced Cooper SE Charge Edition in India at Rs. 55 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Cooper SE Charge Edition is a limited edition model and it comes to India via the CBU route. Mini will import just 20 units which makes it extra special compared to regular Cooper SE models. The special edition model is finished in chilli red colour and the roof is finished in white colour along with wing mirrors, light surrounds, handles and logos. Along with this the company has also added matte red stripes on the bonnet and tailgate.

The company has also added yellow strips on the door while the 17-inch alloy wheels have been carried over from the regular Cooper SE. Apart from this, everything else remains the same. The interior design is carried over from the regular Mini Electric which is already on sale as the company has given all-black colour which gives a sporty feel to the cabin. The centre console is dominated by the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest software as the retro theme.

The instrument cluster is a 5.5-inch unit which is again carried over from the regular mode. This special edition model gets toggle switches and media controls on the centre console. The Mini Cooper SE Charge Edition is powered by a 32.6 kWh battery pack and it produces 184 hp of power and 270 Nm of torque. 0-100 kph in 7.3 sec and the top speed is 150 kph which is the same as other models. The WLTP claimed range is 250 km which is more than enough. Using the 50 kW DC fast charger, the Mini Cooper SE can be topped up in just 36 minutes.
