By Ashok Leyland, a leading player in the commercial vehicle manufacturing sector, is marking a significant milestone as it celebrates its 75th anniversary with a special commemorative drive. The Indian automobile giant, known for its innovative and reliable commercial vehicles, has come a long way since its inception in 1948. To honour this remarkable journey, Ashok Leyland has organized a unique cross-country drive that will span various cities and regions across the country. The special drive aims to not only showcase the company’s diverse range of vehicles but also to highlight its contributions to the growth and development of the Indian automotive industry.
The 75th-anniversary celebration drive also serves as a platform for Ashok Leyland to express its gratitude to its customers, stakeholders, employees, and partners who have played a pivotal role in the company’s success over the years. It’s a testament to the brand’s commitment to delivering quality products and fostering enduring relationships. To mark this special occasion, Bada Dost & AVTR 4825 vehicles are travelling across the country and these special vehicles reached Kochi. The journey started from Bengaluru, the vehicle is headed towards Thiruvananthapuram. The drive will culminate in the manufacturing plant of Ennore. The drive will also cover Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Sankagiri, Namakkal, Salem, Vellore, and Chennai in this journey.
The Dream Drive will have a total of 10 vehicles traversing the length and breadth of the country on five different routes. Starting from Bengaluru, Mumbai, Jammu, Kolkata, and Dibrugarh, the drive will travel through key locations around the country and culminate at the manufacturing plants of Ashok Leyland. The campaign aims to celebrate the company’s enduring relationship with the nation in many dimensions. Along the way, Ashok Leyland will engage with its extensive network of dealerships, a direct connection with its valued customers and gather insights from years of experience in the Commercial Vehicle ecosystem.
