MG officially launched the Hector Dual Delight variant in India at Rs. 16.84 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Delight variant is based on the top-spec sharp and it is priced at a premium of Rs. 20,000 over the regular model. The only change on Dual Delight compared to Sharp is the introduction of dual-tone body colour and it is currently available in two colours – Candy White and Glaze Red with Starry Black colour option.

The A-pillar and OVRMs are also finished in the Starry Black shade, which makes the Hector look really good. Recently, the company introduced Anniversary Edition to celebrate the first anniversary of the Hector and it was based on the base variant. Apart from the colour options, Hector Dual Delight carries over all the features from the regular model and in the coming months, we could expect the company to introduce more colour options.

The interior of Hector Dual Delight comes with features like 10.4 inches vertical placed touch-screen infotainment system, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, climate control, panoramic sunroof, leather seats, rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera, alloy wheels, traction control, push-button start, rain-sensing wipers, auto-headlamps, projector-headlamps, LED tail lamps, powered tailgate and more.

MG has also packed the Delight variant with 6-airbags, ABS with EBD and more. The engine options include 2.0 L diesel engine sourced from FCA with 173 PS and 350 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The petrol engine is a 1.5 L unit with the 48-volt mild-hybrid system, 7-speed DCT. The company has also launched a 6-seater version of Hector called the Hector Plus in India and it is priced at a smaller premium over the regular model.
