Mahindra Thar RWD Updated With New Badges And Tyres

Mahindra introduced the two-wheel drive variant of the Thar earlier this year and it has been extremely popular with customers across the country thus resulting in huge waiting periods. The Thar RWD doesn’t have any exterior difference at the launch except for 4×4 badges which have been removed and now the company has RWD badges at the same place where the earlier 4×4 badges were placed. The badge gets a silver and red colour theme, which looks good.

Earlier models of the Thar RWD come with Ceat tyres and now the company has changed it to MRF Wanderer AT tyres, this could be due to supply chain issues. Apart from this, we haven’t seen any other changes to the new model. Because of the huge waiting period, the company had to postpone the launch of the new Thar 5 Door to next year. The diesel variant of the Thar RWD is more popular among customers when compared to the petrol even though the latter is available only with a manual gearbox.
