By Mahindra continues to test the new Thar 5 Door across the country which reveals more details about the SUV. The latest set of spy shots confirmed that the Thar 5 Door will get a sunroof which is a regular size, not a panoramic sunroof. Apart from the sunroof, the company will offer lots more features on the Thar 5 Door and more cubby space which is not great on the 3 Door model. The touchscreen on the current Thar will be updated to the latest software.
The increased wheelbase improves overall cabin space which will result in better legroom for especially rear passengers and Mahindra might offer individual captain seats for second-row passengers. The front passengers also get an armrest in the middle for better comfort. Mahindra has already confirmed that the Thar 5 Door will be launched in 2024 instead of this year as the huge backlog of current models need to be cleared before the launch of new models.
