By Mahindra Thar 5-door is one of the most awaited models to be launched in India. Now the company has announced that the Thar 5-door will finally reach the Indian market in Q2, 2025. The test mules of the Thar 5-door has been spied frequently across different parts of the country as they want to evaluate the modle thoroughly before the launch. One of the big highlight is going to be the practicality which was missing on the three-door model.
Some of the features on the Thar 5-door include new fog lamps which are integrated into the front bumper along with LED headlamps and indicators which is different compared to the 3-door as it gets halogen set up. Another highlight of the Thar 5-door is the new 19-inch alloy wheels on top-end variants. The top-end variant comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels while the mid-spec model gets simpler-looking wheels and tyres are also expected to be smaller size while the entry-level variants get steel wheels.
Apart from this, the company will offer a remote fuel filling cap, rear wash, and wiper which is not offered on the three-door model. We can expect the company to offer new color options too. The interior design is similar to the three-door model but the main highlight is going to be the new infotainment system. The engines will be the same ones which are already used on the three-door model.
