Jeep officially launched the Wrangler facelift in India at the starting price of Rs. 67.75 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Wrangler facelift has been in the global market for some time now and the American manufacturer took its own sweet time to introduce the model in India. The changes to the Wrangler facelift model are minor compared to some of its rivals as it is available in two variants – Unlimited and Rubicon. The Unlimited variant gets a black finish for the grille along with new windshield glass which is now made from Gorilla Glass.

Apart from this, the Unlimited variant comes in 18-inch alloy wheels and the company is offering a new Sarge Green colour while Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal and Firecracker Red from the pre-facelift model have been retained. Earlier the Sarge Green was available only in the Rubicon variant. The changes to the Rubicon include the same black finish for the grille while the alloy wheels are 17–inch the company offer so many different badges and decals to differentiate it from other variants.

The interior changes for the Wrangler are limited as the SUV now comes with the 12.3-inch infotainment system and to accommodate this new system, the AC vents get a new design. Some of the features include a 12-way power adjustable driver seat, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic roll mitigation, automatic headlamps, TPMS and more.

Jeep Wrangler continues to be powered by a 2.0 L four-cylinder petrol engine producing 270 bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed torque converter gearbox. The Wrangler is known for its off-road capabilities the SUV gets Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system and the Rubicon variant gets special Rock Mode. The company hasn’t made any changes to the design which means the approach, departure and breakover angle haven’t changed. We will soon bring you a detailed review of the updated Wrangler soon.
