By Hyundai commenced testing of the i20 facelift in India as the company has already revealed the updated model for International markets. The test mule spotted were heavily covered at the front and rear which is where most of the changes occur. The i20 N Line gets red elements on the side skirts and also on the seats to make it more sporty compared to the regular model.
One of the main changes expected is LED headlamps replacing the current projector setup and connecting LED tail lamps instead of the chrome lining on the existing model. The interior changes include a new steering wheel and the infotainment system will get new software. Hyundai will continue to offer the same engine and gearbox combination on the i20 as the launch could take place by the end of this year.
