Hyundai i20 Facelift Officially Revealed

Hyundai officially revealed a mid-life update for the new i20, which made its debut in 2020. The new model looks more or less the same as the earlier version but there are slight design tweaks like the updated front grille as it is in line with other new Hyundai models along with refreshed bumper which looks sporty and aggressive. The alloy wheels’ design looks stunning on the model showcased in the official images as they look like aftermarket ones which customers usually fit.

The company hasn’t made any changes to the side while the rear gets a new sporty-looking bumper and a faux skid platting. In Europe, Hyundai offers three new colour options – Lucid Lime Metallic, Lumen Grey Pearl, and Meta Blue Pearl. The interior gets a new 10.25 screen for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. The company has also given LED lights instead of bulbs on the interior, which are multi-coloured to give different themes for the interior.

The i20 is already packed with lots of features like a wireless touchpad, Boss premium music system, wireless Android auto and Apple car play, sunroof and more. Hyundai has also given Smart Sense safety suite with forward collision avoidance assistance including cyclist identification. In Europe, Hyundai offers the i20 with a 1.0 L turbo-petrol engine with either 99 hp or 118 hp a 48-volt mild-hybrid assist. Hyundai is expected to launch the updated i20 next year in India.
