Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift Revealed, Bookings Open

Hyundai officially revealed the Grand i10 Nios facelift in India ahead of the public debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. The Grand i10 Nios was initially launched in the market on August 2019 and It was the third generation of the i10. However, the family hatchback i10 has evolved a lot and now the carmaker revealed the facelift of the Grand i10 Nios with more tweaked styling and design both at inside and outside. The vehicle also got evolved to new technologies that make it more appealing to the youth and family customers.

The Grand i10 Nios facelift hosts an updated front large front grille that is finished in black. The new tri-arrow-shaped DRL is integrated into the front bumper. The stylish sweptback design of the front projector headlight gives an extra bold look to the front fascia. Over the side, the car features new diamond-cut 15-inch alloy wheels that give a wider look to the car however rest of the side designs remain unchanged. The major update is at the back where the Grand i10 Nios now sports new LED tail-lights and are connected by a light bar which enhances a much sporty look to the vehicle.

The interior of the vehicle layout remains similar to the current model but it is tweaked very comprehensively to enhance the interior cabin experience with Footwell lighting, Modern Refreshing Grey upholstery with piping & NIOS embossing, Leather-wrapped steering wheel and Metal finish inside door handles. The safety of the vehicle is largely updated with first-in-segment standard safety features including 4-Airbags, ABS and EBD as standard. Optional safety features include the like of six airbags, ESC, ISOFIX anchorages and a day/night rearview mirror.

The facelifted Grand i10 Nios did not get any update under the hood as it will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83hp and 113.8Nm and is mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Additionally, it also gets a factory-fitted CNG kit in the 1.2-litre petrol engine which develops 69hp and 95.2Nm of torque and is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. However, the 1.0 lite turbo petrol engine is discontinued in the Grand i10 Nios hence the performance variant is not on offer.
