Honda To Offer WR-V Facelift In Two Variants

Honda is planning to launch WR-V facelift in India soon. The company has already teased the model earlier this month and the dealership dispatch of the facelift model has begun. According to new reports, Honda is expected to offer the WR-V in two variants – SV and VX instead of the three variants in the earlier model.

The WR-V facelift comes with minor design tweaks as the front gets redesigned headlamps along with a new bumper and fog lamps. The changes to the side include a new set of alloy wheels and the design will be different for petrol and diesel models while the rear gets redesigned LED tail lamps and a new bumper. We can expect the company to offer some new colour options also.

The changes to the interior are limited new 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with the latest software. We are not expecting changes to the overall dimensions of WR-V. The updated model is packed with standard features like projector headlamps, LED DRL, 16-inch alloy wheels, infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control and power windows.

Along with all these features, the top variant also gets LED headlamps, tail lamps, fog lamps, cruise control, front arm-rest, sunroof, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. The WR-V comes with standard safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear defogger and parking camera. Honda will also offer three years/unlimited km warranty too.

Like the previous model, WR-V facelift will be available with BS6 petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2 L i-VTEC petrol engine produces 89 HP and 110 Nm while the 1.5 L i-DTEC diesel engine puts out 99 HP and 200 Nm. The transmission option is limited to 5-speed manual. Both these engines are extremely frugal too as the diesel returns 23.7 kmpl and 16.5 kmpl for the petrol.
