Nissan Virtual Showroom Now Available In India

Nissan officially introduced the Virtual Showroom in India today. This new interactive method is expected to be more popular among customers in the coming months as social distancing is very important due to COVID-19. The Virtual Showroom can be accessed by customers through the official website of Nissan India.

The Japanese manufacturer sells just two models in India – Kicks and GT-R, but the Virtual showcases only the former. Just like visiting a regular dealership, customers can get a 360-degree view of the Kicks exterior and interior along with features too. If the customers are interested they can book the Kicks from the comfort of the home too.

In recent times, most of the manufacturers are moving online as walk-in is very low and so many customers prefer to book the vehicle online as they get complete details on their fingertip. We are also expecting Nissan to launch the online configurator in India soon to follow up the Virtual showroom as it is very popular in Europe and US markets.

Nissan recently launched the Kicks Turbo petrol in India and it is the first model to introduce the new 1.3 L turbocharged petrol, which was developed by Daimler and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi group. This engine will be introduced soon in Duster and Captur and it produces 156 PS of power and 254 Nm of torque.

The company also offers the 1.5 L naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is updated to meet BS6 norms and it produces 106 PS and 142 Nm. These engines are mated to 6-speed manual gearbox and the turbo petrol is also available with a CVT gearbox. The updated Kicks is available in four variants – XL, XV, XV Premium and XV (O).
