Bajaj Pulsar N150 To Get Smartphone Connectivity, Launch Soon

Bajaj officially teased the updated N150 earlier this week. According to a newly leaked trademark document, Bajaj filed the name “Bajaj Ride Connect” on January 2nd and it has been approved. We are expecting the new Pulsar N150 to be the first Bajaj motorcycle to come with smartphone connectivity as it is the only model in its segment not to feature it as most of the competitors are already offering it and it’s a popular feature among customers too which is why the company might have decided to add it on the updated model.

Some of the features that are expected on the smartphone connectivity include Find My Bike, music control and turn-by-turn navigation. Another feature missing from the Pulsar N150 is a fully digital cluster as Bajaj continues with an analogue tachometer which is better than digital any day. The updated Pulsar N150 could come with either an LCD screen or maybe a proper TFT console but the latter could increase the cost for the company so it could be an LCD screen with all the connected features.

Some of the other updates include a new rear disc brake as the current model gets a front disc brake only. The company is also expected to offer dual-channel ABS on top variant, which will improve the safety of the motorcycle. The Pulsar N150 will come with different colour options which makes the motorcycle more attractive. The engine will remain the same as the 149.6 cc single-cylinder engine produces 14.5 bhp of power and 13.5 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj is expected to increase the price of the N150 with additional features.
