2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Series Launched In India At Rs. 24.62 Lakh

Ducati officially launched the 2024 Streetfighter V4 Series at the starting price of Rs. 24.62 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) for the Standard variant and Rs. 28 lakh for the top-of-the-line S variant. This release marks a significant stride in the realm of high-performance motorcycles in the Indian market. One of the notable enhancements in the 2024 Streetfighter V4 is its increased focus on rideability, a trait Ducati has meticulously refined with this update. Central to this effort is the comprehensive array of electronic aids, which have been revised to offer a heightened level of control and customization to riders.

The introduction of the ‘Wet’ riding mode, for instance, restricts power output to 165 hp while providing a smoother power delivery compared to other modes, enhancing safety and confidence, especially in adverse weather conditions. Further enhancing the riding experience is the addition of two new power modes, ‘Full’ and ‘Low’, which complement the existing ‘High’ and ‘Medium’ modes, allowing riders to finely tune the power output to suit their preferences and riding conditions. Moreover, the increase in fuel tank capacity to 17 litres addresses concerns regarding fuel efficiency, a notable consideration given the performance-oriented nature of the Desmosedici Stradale engine.

In terms of design and ergonomics, Ducati has implemented several refinements to elevate the Streetfighter V4’s handling and agility. The TFT dash layout, particularly in Track mode, now mirrors that of the Panigale V4 superbike, offering a seamless transition for riders familiar with Ducati’s flagship models. Additionally, the adjustment of the swingarm pivot contributes to improved weight distribution, enhancing stability and manoeuvrability, especially during cornering manoeuvres. Arguably, one of the most significant updates tailored for India’s diverse riding conditions is the incorporation of rear cylinder deactivation technology, aimed at mitigating heat emission and enhancing rider comfort. Moreover, the activation of radiator fans at lower temperatures signifies Ducati’s commitment to addressing thermal management concerns, further enhancing the overall riding experience in challenging environments.
