The new Maybach is on another level when it comes to luxury as it is evident from the exterior inwards. The front gets redesigned new grille with Maybach lettering on it and thin chrome strips. The Maybach is more than 180 mm longer than the long-wheelbase S Class, which itself is bigger. The longer length is evident from the rear door as it’s massive and to help the rear occupants it can be operated electrically like the Ghost. Another highlight of the Maybach is the retro 20-inch alloy wheels, which goes really well with the luxury theme and the company is also offering a 21-inch wheel too. The chrome overdose continues on the side with illuminated Maybach logo on the c-pillar.

The rear design is similar to the regular S-Class with a bit less chrome compared to front and rear. When it comes to the interior, the new S Class was already miles above of the competition and the Maybach continues as the dashboard is dominated by huge 12.8-inch infotainment system with latest MBUX software while the instrument cluster is a 12.3-inch unit. Mercedes Benz is also offering an additional 11.6-inch screen for the rear passengers.

Another highlight of the Maybach is that the rear seat can be adjusted 19 to 44 degree along with heated, cooling and tons of massage functions to make the passenger comfortable. There’s an exclusive Maybach ride mode, which is even more comfortable than the Comfort setting on the regular S Class. Mercedes Maybach S580 is powered by 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 engine with EQ Boost producing 496 hp and 700 Nm, mated to 9-speed with all-wheel drive and rear-axle steering. The new Maybach is expected to make its India entry sometime in 2022.
