By Toyota re-introduced the previous-generation Innova which is called the Crysta in India earlier this year as the model was discontinued for some time because of the overwhelming response for the MPV. Even though the company introduced a new generation Innova Hycross in India, customers still like the earlier model because of its diesel engine option as the new model is currently only available in Petrol and Hybrid options. According to new reports, the waiting period for Innova Crysta is more than seven months.
The new Innova Hycross waiting period is close to six months. One of the reasons for the long waiting period could be because of the production per month as it is not at the same level as the new Hycross. Toyota is offering the Innova Crysta in three variants – GX, VX and ZX. The company is also offering both 7 and 8-seater options. The Innova Crysta is available for bookings in four grades G, GX, VX & ZX and in five colours – Super White, Attitude Black Mica, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Silver Metallic.
The Innova Crysta is powered by a 2.5 L diesel engine producing 150 hp and 343 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the company doesn’t offer automatic with the new update. The MPV comes with lots of features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Rear Auto AC with Digital Display, 8-Way PowerAdjust Driver Seat, Smart Entry System, Seat Back Table, TFT MID with detailed Drive Information, Leather Seat Color Options( Black and camel Tan), Ambient illumination and One Touch Tumble Second Row Seats.
