BMW M 1000 RR Deliveries Started In India

BMW Motorrad India officially launched the M 1000 RR in India in July as the bookings had already begun. The performance bike was priced at Rs. 49 lakh (Ex-Showroom), which is very expensive for a motorcycle but still considering the package it’s well worth it. Now the company has announced that the deliveries of the M 1000 RR have commenced in India and we could see the motorcycle soon on our roads. We haven’t got details about the customers but it is certainly one of the rare bikes on Indian roads.

The engineers at BMW have spent lots of time on wind tunnels to make the aero parts work well to produce the downforce required. BMW offers seven different riding modes, three of which are completely customisable for the rider. Some of the other features include switchable traction control, ABS, sliding control, launch control, wheelie control, steering stabiliser, cruise control, drop sensor, hill start, and more.

The M Competition Package further adds a BMW endurance chain, carbon fibre rear fender, aero wheel cover, air box cover, billet pack, GPS lap trigger and more. Let’s talk about the heart as it is powered by a 999 cc inline four-cylinder engine with 211 hp and 113 Nm, the power has increased by 2 hp and the top speed is 314 kph. The M 1000 RR is finished in an M paint scheme with light white for the standard model and Black Storm metallic colour for the Competition Package.
