Tata Punch Facelift Spotted For The First Time

Tata Punch facelift spotted in India for the first time. The test mule is heavily camouflaged which suggests that the company might make extensive design changes to the front and rear. The Punch facelift model is expected to take inspiration from the EV model, which was introduced last year. The front gets a new LED headlamp while the LED DRLs on the top will be retained. The bumper will be completely different as it is expected to give a wider look for the micro-SUV with faux skid plates for the SUV look.

The changes to the side are limited to the new set of alloy wheels while the rear gets new LED tail lamps and it will be connected like those on Nexon along with an updated bumper. We can expect Tata Motors to offer new colour options for the Punch, which include both single and dual-tone colour options. The overall dimensions of the Punch facelift will be similar except for minor changes in the length. The interior is going to get a major refresh as the current petrol version is based on the earlier model.

The new Punch will come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new digital instrument cluster. Some of the features on the electric model won’t be available on the petrol version like the electronic parking brake, and rear disc brakes to name a few. The petrol engine is likely to be the same 1.2 L unit producing 87 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque, mated to manual and AMT gearbox options. Tata Motors is expected to introduce the facelift version of Punch later this year in India.
