By Tata Motors officially launched the Nexon facelift in India on September 14 and the updated model has been extremely popular among customers. The facelift version of the Nexon looks completely different from the earlier model along with a new interior but the body shape is the same. In most cities, the Nexon facelift model has a waiting period of 6 to 8 weeks depending on the variants. Tata Motors is offering 11 different variants of the Nexon in six different colour options for the customers to choose from.
The front and rear get lots of changes especially the front end as the company has given a split-headlamps set-up in which LED DRL is placed on the top and projector LED fog lamps slighter lower. The logo is placed in the centre and they are connected to the headlamps with a thick black line while the lower bumper also gets a new design theme. The side design is similar to what we have seen on the pre-facelift model but the alloy wheels design is new. The rear gets new LED tail lamps and they are connected with an LED strip which gives a modern feel to the Nexon because the rear design was one of the weak points of the earlier model.
The interior design is completely different and the design took inspiration from the Curvv Concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. The centre console is dominated by a 10.25-inch touch-screen infotainment system with the latest software and the instrument cluster is also a 10.25-inch unit with a full-view map option available too. Tata Motors has packed the Nexon facelift with features like a 360-degree camera, and ventilated seats to name a few. The Nexon facelift is powered by a 1.2 L petrol engine with 120 hp and 170 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT and 7-speed DCT while the compact SUV also comes with a 1.5 L diesel engine producing 115 hp and 160 Nm, mated to 6-speed manual and AMT.
