By Tata Motors officially launched the Nexon EV facelift in India at the starting price of Rs. 14.74 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Nexon. ev facelift will be offered in six variants – Creative+, Fearless, Fearless+, Fearless+ S, Empowered and Empowered+. The variant name of the electric version is different to the ICE version. The booking amount of the Nexon. ev is Rs. 21,000 as they can book either via the dealership or the official website. The deliveries are expected to begin soon after the official launch.
The Nexon. ev is offered in seven different exterior colour options – Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Daytona Grey, Intensi-teal, Pristine White, Flame Red, and Empowered Oxide. Tata Motors has replaced the Prime and Max designations with medium-range and long-range variants for the new Nexon EV. The Medium Range variant is equipped with a 30kWh battery, while the Long Range variant features a 40.5kWh battery pack. These batteries provide an ARAI-claimed range of 325 km and 465 km, respectively, marking a 12 km increase over the outgoing Nexon EV.
One of the most exciting features of the Nexon EV facelift is its bi-directional charging capability, allowing for Vehicle-to-vehicle and Vehicle-to-load charging. This means you can charge other electric vehicles and electrical appliances using this technology. In terms of performance, the medium-range electric powertrain delivers 129 HP and 215 Nm of torque, while the long-range version produces 142 HP and 215 Nm of torque. Surprisingly, the power output remains consistent, with torque levels seeing a reduction of 30 Nm and 38 Nm, respectively. The Nexon EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in 8.9 seconds, with a top speed of 150 km/hr. It offers three driving modes (Eco, City, and Sport) and features a 4-level regeneration system, enhancing efficiency and driving dynamics.
