By Tata Motors officially launched the Nexon and Nexon EV Dark Edition in India. Both these models were already revealed but the company took some time to introduce them in the market. The Dark Edition models of Tata Motors are extremely popular thanks to their all-black design. The company is offering the Nexon Dark Edition in mid-spec Creative and top-end Fearless variants. The Nexon EV Dark Edition price starts at Rs. 11.45 Lakh (Ex-Showroom), which is Rs. 35,000 more than the regular variant.
Like the previous Dark Edition models, most of the changes are cosmetics everything gets a dark finish which makes the model stand out from regular variants. Some of the features available on the Nexon Dark Edition include a wireless charger, sunroof, hidden capacitive touch panel for climate control, black leatherette seats, illuminated logo on the steering wheel, touch screen infotainment system with the latest software of Tata Motors, digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats and more.
The Nexon EV on the other hand is available only with the top-end variant and it is priced at Rs. 19.49 lakh (Ex-Showroom) which makes it Rs. 10,000 more expensive than the regular variant. Like the ICE variant of Nexon, the EV also comes with all the features that are available on the regular variant. The long-range variant of the Nexon EV comes with a 40.5 kWh battery pack producing 145 hp of power and 215 Nm of torque. The claimed range of Nexon EV is 465 Km and it is one of the reasons for its huge popularity.
