Mahindra officially launched the XUV 3XO last month and the company opened the bookings for the compact SUV sometime back. Now the Indian manufacturer has revealed that the XUV 3XO received 50,000 bookings within 60 minutes and they have got more than 27,000 bookings in the first ten minutes, which is incredible as it is one of the most competitive segments in the country and Mahindra was able to pull in such good numbers initially as the model has been thoroughly revised both exterior and interior.
The XUV 3XO is basically the facelift version of XUV 300 and it comes with lots of exterior and interior changes when compared to the earlier model. The overall body shape has been retailed but the major design changes are in the front and rear. The front gets new LED projector headlamps with a C-Shape for the DRLs. The company has also updated the grille which is a single piece unit with Mahindra logo in the middle. The front bumper is also new with a simpler design theme.
The changes to the side are limited to just new set of alloy wheels which are 17-inch units on the top end model while lower variants get 16-inch. The mirrors are also new to accommodate the 360-degree camera. The rear gets new c-shape full length connected tail Lamps and a new bumper. The interior also gets a refresh and we got a preview with the XUV 400 EV. The dashboard is dominated by new 10.25 inch touch screen infotainment system and the instrument cluster is also fully digital with same size display. The XUV 3XO comes with segment first panoramic sunroof along with dual-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, ADAS and more. The XUV 3XO is powered by 1.2 L MPFi with 111 PS, 1.2 L Turbo petrol with 130 PS and 1.5 L diesel engine with 117 PS. These engines are mated to 6-speed manual, AMT and Torque Convertor.
