Nissan New 7 Seater MPV Confirmed For India And Global Markets

The Japanese manufacturer Nissan has confirmed an upcoming 7-seater MPV for India and other global markets such as Latin America. The new 7 Seater MPV will be based on the Renault Triber, which is on sale in India. Nissan has made a huge comeback in India with its most value-for-money SUV Magnite in the country and the brand has promised to bring more exciting cars in the future. To the future lineup, Nissan is planning to bring the 7-seater MPV. The partnership between Nissan and Renault resulted in many good vehicles inside and outside the country. And the upcoming MPV will also be another beautiful product grown up from the Nissan- Renault partnership.

The upcoming MPV will be based on the Renault Triber. It is expected that the Nissan version will feature a different styling to distinguish the vehicle like the different styling between Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite. It is really important for Nissan to come with more products in India as by April Nissan will pull its plug on the Kicks SUV and it will be left alone with the Magnite. So the Triber-based MPV has a huge responsibility in the Nissan India line-up to carry forward the momentum of the brand and reach to many entry-level MPV seekers.

The Triber is an entry-level 7-seater MPV with an upright stance to accommodate more space inside. The measures are sub 4 meters in length. And it is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces 71 bhp power and 96 Nm of torque. It is mated to both manual and AMT transmission. Nissan will soon start the testing of the vehicle for India and other global markets and it will hopefully make its debut by the end of 2023 with some very prominent distinguishing designs and styling.
