Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Launched In India At Rs. 8.27 Lakh

Nissan has recently introduced an exciting addition to its lineup in India, the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition. Priced at an attractive Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), this special edition is set to turn heads on the roads. It builds upon the already popular XV trim of the Magnite and offers buyers three different variants to choose from: Kuro petrol MT, Kuro turbo-petrol MT, and Kuro turbo-petrol CVT. The name “Kuro” is derived from Japanese, meaning “black,” and this edition lives up to its name with a sleek all-black treatment.

The black theme extends across various exterior elements, including the grille, grille surrounds, skid plate, roof rails, door handles, alloy wheels, window accents, and accents in the headlights. Notably, the only exceptions to this dark theme are the ‘Nissan,’ ‘Magnite,’ and ‘Kuro’ badges, along with the striking red brake callipers. Inside the cabin, the theme continues with the roof liner, sun visors, door handles, steering wheel, and AC vent surrounds receiving the black treatment. Despite being based on the XV trim, the Magnite Kuro Edition comes equipped with some premium features borrowed from the top-of-the-line XV Premium trim, including a wireless charger and rear AC vents.

The XV trim itself offers an impressive array of features, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera for enhanced visibility, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster for a modern touch, and automatic climate control for added comfort. Under the hood, buyers can choose between two capable engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre petrol engine producing 72hp and 96Nm of torque. The second option is a more powerful 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 100hp and 160Nm of torque. Both engines come with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox, while the turbo-petrol variant also offers the convenience of a CVT transmission. Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition is expected to give tough competition to rivals like the Renault Kiger Urban Night edition, making it an exciting choice for buyers looking for a blend of style and substance.
