By Second-generation Mercedes Benz GLC is one of the most awaited models to be launched in Indian market as it was the best-selling SUV of the German manufacturer in India. The company has already opened bookings for the new GLC sometime back and reports indicate that the waiting period could be high as the demand for the new GLC is really good. The official launch is going to take place on August 9th and we are going to drive the updated GLC later this week.
The official colour options for the new GLC has been leaked ahead of the launch as Mercedes Benz will offer six exterior colour options Graphite Grey, Polar White, Nautic Blue, Mojave Silver and Obsidian Black. The interior also comes with three colour options – all black, sienna brown and macchiato beige. But the customer won’t get the option to mix and match the exterior and interior colour options for the new GLC as there are some pre-configured options by Mercedes Benz itself.
The beige interior colour is only offered with either white and blue while the black is offered with silver, grey and black. The tan colour option is offered with silver and black. Mercedes has packed the GLC with lots of the latest tech and safety features. In India, Mercedes will offer two variants – GLC 300 petrol and GLC 220d Diesel as both these engines get 48V starter motors for additional assistance. The 2.0 L petrol engine produces 258 PS and the 2.0 L diesel engine puts out 197 PS.
