Now the company has announced that the Ertiga has more than 67000 open bookings as of December 2023. The overwhelming response from customers indicates a strong demand for the Ertiga, reflecting its appeal as a versatile and spacious seven-seater. Interestingly, the manufacturer revealed that the waiting period for the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) variants of the Ertiga is notably longer compared to the petrol versions.
This points towards the growing interest and preference for eco-friendly options among consumers, emphasizing the significance of sustainable mobility in the automotive landscape. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is currently offered in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus, with prices starting from Rs. 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers have the flexibility to choose from a palette of seven distinct exterior shades, including eye-catching options like Pearl Metallic Autumn Red, Dignity Brown, and Pearl Arctic White, among others.
Under the hood, the Ertiga boasts a robust 1.5-litre petrol engine, generating 102bhp and 137Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a choice of either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter, providing customers with diverse options to suit their driving preferences. Additionally, for those inclined towards a more eco-conscious choice, a CNG variant is available, delivering 87bhp and 121Nm of torque, exclusively with a manual gearbox.
