By MG Motors showcased the petrol hybrid model EHS at the 2023 autoexpo. The vehicle combines the best of a combustion engine with the performance and comfort of an electric motor. However MG has made the vehicle to enjoy the spacious and luxurious cabin inside and conquer more miles. The manufacturer haven’t said anything about the vehicles launch in India and it is likely to be just showcased in the autoexpo to indentify the market response and feedback.
The vehicle is powered by a1.5 T-GDI turbocharged petrol hybrid engine that produces 258 bhp power and 370 Nm of torque. The plugin hybrid powertrain of the vehicle give huge range for the vehicle to become a mile muncher. The 16.6 kWh battery pack powering the electric motor give a electric only range of 52 Km WLTP.
The Internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric motor drive the front wheels of the car with the ability to work in full electric or mixed mode. The vehicle gives more added luxury in the interior with large immersive touchscreen and the safety side of the vehicle is also a great added plus point with advanced driver assist tech. However the vehicle is not yet confirmed to be launched in India. If the market conditions favour MG might bring the plugin hybrid EHS to the country.
