By MG Motor India has announced an upward revision in the prices of its popular SUV, the Hector Plus. This move reflects MG’s proactive approach to adapting to industry dynamics and external influences, ensuring the continued delivery of a compelling product lineup. MG is offering the Hector Plus in Smart, Smart EX, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro variants along with the option of 6 and 7-seater options. The Sharp Pro diesel variant gets the highest hike of Rs. 61,000 while the Smart Pro variant price increased by Rs. 59,000.
While all other petrol and diesel variants’ prices increased by Rs. 30,000. The revision accounts for several factors, including escalating input expenses, inflationary pressures, and challenges within the global supply chain. MG Motor India aims to maintain a balance between affordability and its commitment to providing advanced technology and features to customers. The price increase reflects MG’s proactive approach to adapting to industry dynamics and external influences, ensuring the continued delivery of a compelling product lineup.
MG Hector Plus is powered by 2.0 L diesel engines which does duty on a number of products in India in the Hector Plus it produces 168 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The 1.5 L petrol engine puts out 141 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. The petrol engine gets the options of both manual and automatic gearboxes while the diesel engine is only offered with a manual gearbox. We were expecting the company to offer a diesel automatic gearbox option with the facelift model but it didn’t happen still the Hector Plus remains one of the best options in its segment.
