By Maruti Suzuki is getting its foot on the electric vehicles and in prior to that the manufacturer showcased its first global electric vehicle concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. The concept was revealed in the name eVX. Maruti conveyed that the upcoming electric SUV from the brand will be a true SUV with all the capabilities of off-road with evolved 4×4 technology. The vehicle is a grounds up EV from the brand that is built on a dedicated EV platform and a full range of EV will be released further. This will be the future of Maruti Suzuki with going all electric.
The concept features a boxy design with sharp lines and rugged body creases however the vehicle is compact and only has propositions similar to the Grand Vitara. Maruti Suzuki has not revealed much about the performance of the eVX, but has confirmed that it features a dual motor setup for a 4×4 drivetrain. The interior of the eVX Concept hasn’t revealed yet, but it will be packed with connected technology and likely feature multiple large displays. The vehicle will also feature advanced driver assist tech with more added safety features. The EV SUV will make it debut on 2025, and it is expected to showcase a production ready unit at the next auto expo. However the range and the power figures are not reveled yet but we expect the vehicle to give a range of 500 km on a single charge.
