Mahindra XUV4OO EV Launched At Rs.15.9 Lakh

Mahindra launched the electric SUV XUV4OO in the country at INR 15.9 lakh. The XUV4OO is the first C-segment electric SUV from the brand and also the XUV400 gets the honour of being the first Mahindra vehicle to bear the Electrifying Copper Twin Peak logo. The future of automobile commutes will be powered by electricity and Mahindra is getting into the electric mobility segment very strongly with the XUV4OO. The EV offers a compelling proposition of superior Performance, Design, Space and Technology at an attractive price. It is available in 2 variants XUV400 EC & XUV400 EL

The XUV4OO EL is powered by a 39.4 kWh battery that offers an MIDC range of up to 456 km and comes along with a 7.2 kW charger whereas the XUV4OO EC is powered by a 34.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, offers an MIDC range of up to 375 km and comes along with a 3.3 kW charger and 7.2 kW charger as an option. The vehicle design is similar to the XUV3OO with only minor changes with inserts of copper brushed elements to distinguish it as electric.

Operating in the C-segment SUV category, the XUV400 is 4200mm long and boasts a wheelbase of 2600 mm, which offers its occupants not only excellent cabin space and legroom to luxuriate in but also best-in-class boot space of 378 litres/418 litres (up to the roof). The all-electric XUV400 has the fastest acceleration in the non-luxury segment; 0-100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds, top speed of 150 kmph. The XUV400 provides the highest power 110kW (150PS) and torque 310 Nm in its segment, powered by a high capacity 39.4 kWh and 34.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering an anxiety-free range of 456 kilometres and 375 kilometres respectively, as per Indian driving cycle standards (MIDC). The XUV400 is every inch an authentic Mahindra SUV, with the dynamics and eco-friendliness of an electric drivetrain.

Mahindra aims to deliver 20,000 units of the XUV400 within a year of its launch, considering the challenges of the structural gap between the demand and supply of automotive-grade semiconductors and the availability of battery packs. The XUV400 will be available for bookings starting from 26th January 2023 and the deliveries will begin in March 2023 for XUV400 EL and during Diwali festive season for XUV400 EC. The vehicle is made to have fun and the future of sustainable mobility is excited to have fun and performance together with the XUV4OO.
